The 3rd annual Fayette County showing of the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival is a student driven project sponsored by Plateau Action Network, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting responsible economic development and sustainable environmental management. Additional project partners include the Fayette County Green Advisory Team, the Fayette County Schools, Drive Current and WELD.

Our team of students and mentors has produced a captivating program that will engage and inspire you to explore your connection to your community and the environment. Films range from thirty minute pieces chronicling the efforts of youth on behalf of their communities to short animated films meant to make you laugh. These films were chosen by our students and reflect the messages and themes they would like their peers and community to explore.

If you are a student in a Fayette County High School and would like to attend the film festival at Fayetteville High School or Oak Hill High School click here for more information on how to get your ticket to the show. Also, please attend our community event on April 23 from 6:30-9pm at the Fayette Theater. Admission for the Community Event is Free! Yes free, but we will be accepting donations.
